Building Construction Costs

This are the cost for the building. These costs are first estimated as per square foot or per unit costs. Many general contractors will give a price per gross square footage but this price may include the roof overhang, which is not calculated by the developer when thinking of the square footage. In addition, when obtaining this preliminary estimate, the owner should ensure that he is using a general contractor who has recently constructed a similar type of property.
